Product Summative Assessment

1. Geometry contains measures that form straight angles adding to 180 degrees and measures of angles at a point adding to 360 degrees.
Self Assessment: Students will fill out a KWL chart to keep track of their progress throughout this lesson.
1. Explain: analyze the 180 degree and 360 degree measure properties to solve problems.
IMovie: Explain the properties in a creative way.
2. Geometry contains vertical angles that are congruent.
Quiz: Students will need to know the difference between congruent vertical angles and angles that are not congruent. This quiz is designed to clarify the different between both types.
2. Interpret: judge angle congruency to solve problems.
Brochure: Show what angle congruency means and solve an example.
3. Geometry is made up of straight angles, angles at a point, and vertical angles.
Journal: In this journal entry, students will need to define each type of angle and give an example of each. This way students will understand the different among the three types.
3. Apply: demonstrate how to use these measures to find the measures of unknown angles.
Glogster Poster: Define the three types of angles and show an example of how to find an unknown angle.
4. Geometry is made up of straight angles, angles at a point, and vertical angles.
Observation: I will observe the students' progress by walking around the room to check students' work.
4. Perspective: produce measures for unknown angles.
Comic Life: Show steps of an example through a story.
5. Geometry contains vertical angles that are congruent.
Dialogues: Students will report out the definition and other understands of congruent vertical angles through class discussion.
5. Empathy: recognize angle congruency to solve problems.
Podcast: Interview a Mathematics teacher who will explain congruency through a story.
6. Geometry contains measures that form straight angles adding to 180 degrees and measures of angles at a point adding to 360 degrees.
Prompts: I will give a prompt about the two types of angles and students will write about the definitions and give an example of each type.
6. Self Knowledge: consider the 180 degrees and 360 degrees properties to solve problems.
Blog: Talk about these two types of degree properties. Consider if there might be any other major degree properties we should know that relate to these two types.
